Steven Puthuff
Steve Puthuff is an engineer, inventor, and entrepreneur whose life has been shaped by bold decisions, faith, and a drive to make a real difference. Raised in a Christian home in rural California, he grew up with values that guided him through every step of his career.
With a degree in electrical engineering, Steve entered Silicon Valley at a time of major growth and change. Over the years, he founded 14 companies and earned 11 patents across various fields of technology. His creative approach to solving problems and building businesses became the foundation of a long and remarkable career.
Steve is also known for taking bold steps outside the business world. During a time of major reform, he went into the Soviet Union and worked directly with leaders to help open the door to free enterprise. His work has taken him to India and beyond, and his contributions have been honored internationally, including receiving the Indian equivalent of the Nobel Prize.
Even with all these achievements, Steve’s priorities have remained simple: his faith, his family, and his purpose. He believes in setting big goals and living with courage. His favorite saying reflects that belief: “If your reach does not exceed your grasp, then what is heaven for?”
